Sunday Stealing: Another 14 Question Meme

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named Shanachie from the blog Quill, Parchment, & Ink: Writings and Ramblings. He explains that he was tagged to do it and then basically tagged the world to do the meme. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go.



1. Lots of pillows or just one? Describe your pre-sleeping rituals. Lots. I have to put on TV, I don't watch it, I just feel sleepy when I hear it and see the screen light flickering. I also can't sleep with too much light on. Or if TV is not around I have to read a book, even just a snippet.

2. What kind of books do you read? I like fiction. Psycho thrillers, mysteries, detective themed novels, and I also just recently gotten into chick lit.

3. What are your neighbors like? Nice but can get extremely nosy. Perhaps because having a 'barang' {foreigner} like me staying beside their house is a novelty.

4. What's really creepy to you? Live accidents. Wormy, wiggly things.

5. What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction? Coffee, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, pasta cooking, Jang Geun Seuk, shopping for kitchen stuff, saving, blogging, waiting for Harry Potter 7, the movie.

6. Do you prefer your junk food sweet, salty or savory? savory.

7. What was the last thing you expensive bought? a Nintendo Wii!!!

8. What is your greatest fear? that something happens to both me and hubby and our Chinkee would be left behind.

9. Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?  I always do. Usually salty stuff.

10. What do you do to change your mood?OWSS! Online Window Surf Shopping. I blog. I crochet. I watch a really cringe worthy drama. I cook. I shop.

11. What was the last meal you ate that you loved? Yesterday, lunch. Rice, spring rolls, vegetable salad.

12. Do you want to learn another language? If so, why? Yes. I need to learn Cambodian language. It would allow me live in an easier way. 

13. What's something that you'd like to say to someone right now? Well, be happy, have fun, enjoy the day. That goes to everyone.

14. What are you looking forward to? Christmas!

Sunday Stealing: The 14 Question Meme

Let me just say, Hurray!!! 14 Questions only..Lol!



Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named Jayne at the blog Journey Through Grace. She states that she was tagged by her friend The Bug at the blog Bug Eye's View. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go.

1. What do you consider your hometown to be? Bacacay, Albay Philippines. 

2. What’s the hardest part of your average day? Waking up. hahaha.

3. The easiest? Why? Falling asleep. I'm usually dead tired. 

4. What beverage do you reach for to quench your thirst? Water. Chilled, no ice.

5. What is one not-so-secret goal you have for your life? I’ll let you keep your secret ones to yourself. To lose weight. To lose weight. Really. I have to be healthy so I could achieve the secret ones =)

6. What physical pain do you fear most? For example, I’m trying to decide how bad my jaw pain needs to get before I risk a potential needle from my dentist. So, for me, throbbing is preferable to jabbing. Tooth ache hands down. I hate visiting the dentist.

7. Where do you find solace? Hubby. He's my best friend, I could rant and rave, act like a lunatic but he'd still love me and comfort me. He must be blind. 

8. What makes you the saddest when you read/see the news? Kids involved in crimes. It never fails to feel gut wrenching sadness when I see kids killed, abused..

9. What do you eat for a favorite snack? Now? This spicy Thai biscuits. Apples and oranges.

10. What movie could you/would you watch more than two or three times and still enjoy just as much as the first time?  I love You've Got Mail, Love Actually, Ever After {I heart Drew Barrymore..} and all Harry Potter films. These one's I've watched countless times already and I never tire of them. I know most of them are light and fluffy and that's exactly why I could watch them again and again..

11. What boy/girl first made you cry? Secret..

12. What brand of coffee/tea do you drink most often?  I buy dried unprocessed tea leaves. If not available I like Twinnings Earl Grey. Instant coffee? Taster's Choice or Nescafe Decaf. Brewed, well I'm spoiled for choice here in Phnom Penh, lots of cafe's and the local brew is top notch.

13. Dig in the dirt with or without garden gloves? Any. whatever strikes my fancy.

I was not able to join this meme's first part hehe.. My excuse is: none.. I was kinda out of my blogging touch last week and now that I think about it 50 questions is quite a lot so at least I was saved from answering the first 25 lol!

26. Do you like someone? Yes. I like most people =) I think it would be too tiring to start disliking a lot of people.

47. How far back do you know about your ancestry? On my dad's side, I know a lot even up to my great 6x grandparents. But on my mom's side, I only know up to my great grandparents. Mostly because, on mom's side, her father is not of pure Filipino descent.

48. The last time you dressed fancy, what did you wear and why did you dress fancy? A turquoise cocktail dress with a shockingly high heels. I went to a wedding.
